Rumored impeachment of Ekiti House of Assembly Speaker

Fresh facts have emerged that Ekiti lawmakers did not impeach the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, rather the legislators approved the reconstitution of the local government caretaker committees and confirmed the commissioner- nominees of Governor Ayodele Fayose.
It was earlier rumoured that seven members of  Ekiti State House of Assembly backed by well
armed policemen, Monday, impeached the speaker of the state house of Assembly, Adewale Omirin.
Idowu Adelusi CPS to the Governorof Ekiti state has denied reportes that the State Speaker has been impeached. The CPS statement read thus ”Our attention has been drawn to the news that the Ekiti State Speaker has been impeached by 7members.

Well, I am not suppose to respond to the lies
aired purposely to misinformed members of the public because the legislature is another arm of government and whatever they do in their chamber is their business and the executive arm has nothing to do with that.
If they remove their leaders and appoint new ones, that is their business.
However, to educate the public, no speaker was removed. Nine members of the House sat today to approve the commissioner nominees, Special Advisers and the Local Government Caretaker Committees for the 16 local government councils. There are 26 members in the House and the
House standing order allows a quorum of 9 members to sit and appoint speaker plenipotentiary to preside.
So, what transpired in the House is within the law.
APC are only being hypocritical. APC-controlled state of Edo, we all know what is happening there. For over a year now, the state governor has prevented the lawmakers from sitting.
He said he was going to renovate the Assembly Complex and PDP lawmakers have been meeting in the dilapidated complex, while APC lawmakers are meeting at the Government House.
Also another APC state of Rivers, the judiciary has been shut down for over a year too.”

Gadgets: Premium VS Budget VS Mid-range Devices

When we hear budget devices, our mind usually race to phones and smart devies. Based on public opinion, premium devices are attributed to affluence and luxury. I will like to broaden my scope with my classification of premium and budget gadgets. Lets start with mobile phones, classical example of premium phones are Samsung S-series, iPhones, HTC and the likes, examples of budget phones are the likes of Tecno, Infinix, iTel, Wiko, Fero. Moving away from mobile phones, Materials and gadgets that can also be classified as premium are Rolex watch, Beat by Dre earpiece, Auto brands like Rollce Royce (thanks to our Chinese reverse engineers that are able to produce replicas). With my experience owing Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and having have a feel of ALL Samsung phone, I am trilled to say, the money worth it. I know most people will say the price is too high bla bla bla, permit to educate you a little on how this prices come by. 1. Research: In this age of science and technology, nobo...

French military chief quits after Macron row

French leader Emmanuel Macron faced the biggest crisis of his young presidency on Wednesday following the resignation of the military chief he had rebuked for criticising defence spending cuts. The row between Macron and General Pierre De Villiers blew up last week when the chief of the defence staff told a parliamentary committee he would not allow the armed forces to be “screwed” by the government’s plans to slash 850 million euros ($980 million) from the budget. Macron, 39, replied later that “I am the boss” and criticised the 60-year-old general for dragging the budget row into the “public sphere”. In a newspaper interview at the weekend, Macron added that if there was a difference of opinion, “it is the chief of the defence staff who will change his position”. De Villiers said in his resignation statement he felt he had no choice but to stand down because “I no longer feel able to ensure the sustainability of the model of the armed forces that I think is necessary to guarante...
