Professor Yemi Osinbajo is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Senior Partner in the Law firm of SimmonsCooper Partners. Yemi Osibanjo is a professor of law and was the head of department of Public Law at the University of Lagos (1997-1999). His tertiary education was at the University of Lagos and the London School of Economics and Political Science obtaining the LLB and LLM degrees respectively.

Haim Saban (L) pledged last year to support Clinton should she run for president. Former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton will address a forum about US-Israeli relationships sponsored by Israeli billionaire Haim Saban. The Saban Forum in Washington is an annual event organized by the Brookings Institution, The Hill reported on Monday. The Israeli mega-donor is a major political donor, who pledged last year to support Clinton should she run for the next presidential election. “I hope she will run. She would be a wonderful president,” Saban said. US Secretary of State John Kerry and Vice President Joe Biden will also be among the participants of the forum.

The Speaker of the House of Assembly in Ekiti State Hon Omirin was today impeached bearing two month into Ayodele Fayose government. The House of Assembly members had been in office from the 2011.  In what could be termed record breaking, he was impeached by seven (7) house members, also there had being some unprecedented activities like cross-carpeting of house member from the APC to PDP to pitch their tent with the new governor. The speaker had nonetheless being in good terms with the new governor as his petrol station station was shutdown at some point.

 Fresh facts have emerged that Ekiti lawmakers did not impeach the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, rather the legislators approved the reconstitution of the local government caretaker committees and confirmed the commissioner- nominees of Governor Ayodele Fayose. It was earlier rumoured that seven members of  Ekiti State House of Assembly backed by well armed policemen, Monday, impeached the speaker of the state house of Assembly, Adewale Omirin. Idowu Adelusi CPS to the Governorof Ekiti state has denied reportes that the State Speaker has been impeached. The CPS statement read thus ”Our attention has been drawn to the news that the Ekiti State Speaker has been impeached by 7members.
