Geospatial Information Hub is a website majorly designed for emergency management to monitor information about events, its uses include emergency monitoring, tracking disasteer situation and as a platform for Emergency responders to get feedback from their various actors. The website automatically pdates within 5minutes, so the interested person will get informed real-time. Informations displaed on the are emergency reports carefully analyzed on Social media and geocoded for easy adoption in a GIS environment. Event to be monitored include: building collapse, Chemical explosions, Fire, Floods, Industrial/technological accident, road accident, and traffic which are classified into long and short events. Feedback mechanism included in the website include comment button at the home page whereby citizens and responders can give more vivid details about the event under review and make recommendations.
