Ekiti State Government has called on Stakeholders in Education Sector to play their roles to ensure quick reposition of education in the State.
Governor Ayodele Fayose represented by the Deputy Dr. Kolapo Olusola made the call during an unscheduled visit to Corpus Christi College Ilawe Ekiti. Government House Correspondent, Sunday Daramola now takes it from here.
The Governor who was conducted round some of the facilities in the school by the Principal expressed the readiness of the present administration to make learning environment conducive throughout the state by providing learning facilities. He said his government was also passionate about the welfare of teachers and would offset their outstanding salaries.

The Governor, however charged the teachers to be committed to their work and make the best use of their limited time to impact knowledge on the students. Governor Fayose decried the attitude of not exposing students to practical classes but said the idea of waiting until few days to examination would not help the student.
He said the present Administration was poised at regaining lost ground in education and that such lackluster attitude would not help On the part of the students he enjoined them to cooperate with their teachers and had teaching session in some of the classes visited Speaking after the inspection tour, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Agnes Olabitan thanked the Governor for the visit and said such unscheduled visit would help develop the Education Sector.
She however called on the Government parents and Alumni of the school to come to their aid.
